Welcome to FAWMERS.COM - the site for the February Album Writing Month community. FAWMERS is here to help keep FAWM participants in touch through the other 11 months of the year as well as encourage and discuss artists in pursuit of the art of songwriting.
Welcome to FAWMERS.COM - the site for the February Album Writing Month community. FAWMERS is here to help keep FAWM participants in touch through the other 11 months of the year as well as encourage and discuss artists in pursuit of the art of songwriting.
What is FAWM, you say? FAWM is a creative challenge where songwriters attempt to write 14 songs in the 28 days of February. Participants post their work to the FAWM website where other participants can post help, encouragement, and constructive feedback on the fledgling song.
If you were a FAWM participant in previous years, then we encourage you to register and participate in the forums and help grow and maintain the exceptional songwriting community gathered together by www.fawm.org.
Of course, even if you haven't heard of FAWM, you are welcome here as well. If you are a songwriter, songwriter-to-be, or just an avid music fan, we welcome you to particpate - maybe we can encourage you to take part in FAWM 2007 (it's well worth it!). And check out www.fawm.org right away. You will be able to find more FAWM info there, and in the FAQ section in a short while.
You can also manage your online profile, and post songs and lyric excerpts for feedback, and much much more!
FAWMers.com is a work in progress and will continue to grow - in the meantime, sign up, take part, meet some new and old friends, and tell us how we're doing! We're here to help and motivate you in your songwriting efforts. FAWM shows us year after year that there's a huge amount of talent out there, and the community is growing fast!
